We had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Dermarkarian yesterday for the follow-up visit of our 95 yo mother after he performed a hip replacement for her in October. She was continuing to have hip pain that precluded her from walking that appeared after a recent new fall. The doctor immediately made the diagnosis of hip bursitis and administered a steroid injection to the hip that relieved her pain by the time she returned back to the rehabilitation center. I have never in my 73 years witnessed the care, empathy, and dedication that this physician provides to her on every visit. He spends extra time to provide the care that is required. He is patient and listens with attention to her concerns which must be atrial with her confusion and own inpatient attitude. I will gladly recommend him and Coastal Orthopedics to all my friends.
