He is great…I had a very interesting and difficult case of a badly messed up knee due to a fall, he was very thorough in making a decision on treatment, you can tell he really cares and wants what is best for you. The last thing he wanted to do was make my life harder by putting me through surgery and having a longer recovery times and I am grateful he found a better way to deal with it.

Dr. Schafer is an excellent surgeon. He repaired my rotator cuff; left shoulder. He takes pride in his work and always does his absolute best. He has vast knowledge and recall of that is excellent.
Excellent. I just had a second surgery for a torn rotator cuff (2nd shoulder) and the experience was excellent. I have little to no pain and based on the first surgery I expect a rapid recovery.
