Coastal Orthopedics is happy to announce that we have a new and improved portal for our patients!

With this new portal, patients can message their physician, request medication refills, obtain medical records and submit an appointment request.

Portal FAQs

A patient portal is a personalized, secure website that enables you to manage healthcare interactions and communicate with your healthcare providers.

A patient portal offers several benefits. You can bypass our call center to schedule/manage appointments, request prescriptions, or directly communicate to your healthcare team. You can also view your health records, access visit summaries, and other documentation. You may also pay bills online through the portal.

Our previous portal was decommissioned on October 31, 2023. If you have old records you would like to access in our new portal, you can request those documents to be added.

You will have access to lab and test results, visit summaries, visit attachments, appointment history, practice bills, medications, and any other information your physician has made available for you to view.

  • Medication Refills
  • Request Direct communication with your physician’s team
  • Submit an appointment request
  • Obtain medical records
  • View upcoming and past appointments

You will need an invitation to access our portal for the first time, which will be emailed to you when you make your next appointment with a Coastal Orthopedics provider.  If you would like to request an invitation, fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Every patient will receive a unique link so please do not share this information.

Any patient of Coastal Orthopedics can set up a patient portal account. If you have any questions on setting up your portal please reach out to our call center at 941-792-1404.

Once you have enrolled you can access the patient portal from Coastal Orthopedics website. The portal is also accessible from the enrollment email.

You can invite trusted representatives to access your patient portal in your “Profile”. If you do not have a patient portal account, they will be promoted to create one. From there, they can toggle between their own account and any accounts that have been shared with them.

Coastal Orthopedics will send a parent/guardian invitation to view and manage the child’s account.

More than one parent can have access to their child’s information. For example, divorced parents will have their own access to view their child’s portal account.

You can easily message a Coastal Orthopedics team member though the “Messages” tab. While in your message inbox, you can send a new message, attach images, and view your response on the portal.

Yes, your patient portal is HIPPA-compliant, which means your information is securely stored and encrypted.

You can easily review, download, or share your health records with other providers.

Log in to your patient portal account and click the “Health Forms” tab to view and complete your form(s).

Your patient portal can be accessed through any web-enabled desktop, laptop, or mobile device using one of the following supported browsers:
