About Dr. Valadie

Dr. Arthur Valadie is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and knee & shoulder reconstruction. He obtained a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine from the world-renown Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Valadie treats patients of all ages with special interest in athletic injuries in both the young and aging athletes. Dr. Valadie is the Physician President of Coastal Orthopedics Sports Medicine & Pain Management. He also serves as the sports medicine physician to the Pittsburgh Pirates, U.S. Soccer Team, IMG Academy, and State College of Florida.

Dr. Valadie enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three children. An outdoorsmen at heart, his hobbies include fishing, scuba diving, and boating.

Last visit with Dr. Arthur was in 2010 with a slight tear in the meniscus. He suggested to let it heal on its own as opposed to surgically; work out great. Returned now for same knee and the arthritis has taken its toll. Drained knee and injected steroids for a temporary relief. Will be back in 6 weeks to reevaluate. Dr. Arthur has been a great Dr. thru the years. He also repaired my rotator cuff impingement many years ago with great success.

I was very happy with the service I received at Coastal Orthopedics. The staff is very professional. The ladies at the receptionist desk were very kind and welcoming. The nursing staff were very patient and thorough and the radiology technician was great. Dr.Valadie is an amazing doctor. Although I am having knee surgery, not once did I feel pressured into having the procedure. On the contrary, I was pleased that Dr. Valadie suggested a more conservative operation as I am only 35yrs old. I am confident I am making the right choice, and I highly recommend Dr. Valadie and Coastal Orthopedics
