About Dr. Kothari

Dr. Parth Kothari is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of all forms of spinal pathology through both non-operative and surgical interventions. His practice focuses on conditions in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine including stenosis, disc herniations, radiculopathy, myelopathy, scoliosis, trauma, tumors, and infection. Dr. Kothari takes a patient-centered approach, utilizing the latest minimally invasive techniques to alleviate pain and allow patients to improve functionally.

He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the renowned Rothman Orthopedic Institute/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He completed fellowship training in spine surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. While at these institutions he was mentored by world experts in the field, learning cutting-edge techniques including disc replacements, minimally invasive spinal decompression, and lateral interbody fusions.

He has a particular interest in outpatient spine surgery, allowing patients to recover faster from surgical interventions. He believes strongly in evidence-based medicine and has been a prolific researcher in the field of spine surgery with over 60 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Kothari enjoys spending his free time with his wife and family. They enjoy traveling to explore new destinations and cultures.
